I'm really tired and cold. I think Scott might be happy and warm. But actually he just said, "ow, my eyes are sore... How'd my eyes get so sore?", so life is not perfect everywhere. Have you seen The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie? I had a good time while I was watching it. For a few reasons. The first reason was that I found the film very entertaining, both visually and with regard to the script. the second reason was of course NOSTALGIA - I used to read the books when I was a kid. In case you are wondering why I highlighted the word "nostalgia", well, just don't worry about it. Another reason I enjoyed the film was because I was sitting next to Scott Mathew Reeves and he is a great time, no matter what the occasion. It's so weird: when the movie does something funny, or cool or clever, I give Scotty's hand a squeeze and I behave like it is he who has amused me, or delighted me. I practically give the old guy a slap on the back. Well done, old chum. Old boy. Have you ever worked in a museum and done this thing they call Condition Reporting? Oh my God, it is my favourite thing to do. There is a whole specialised vocabulary for it, and you have to find ways to describe things (often very boring things, like rocks or plain cotton handkerchiefs) and not to make them more interesting, but simply just to describe them, as well and succinctly as possible. There is something missing, I don't know what yet. I'm sorry if I have been surly, or forgetful. I haven't been sleeping well. When I realise what it is that is missing, I will maybe try and describe it (succinctly).
